How do I set up KidzPAN on my child's device?

  1. Install the KidzPAN Parent App on your own device and create an account
  2. Add a child profile in the Parent App
  3. Install the KidzPAN Child App on your child's Android device
  4. Follow the on-screen pairing process to link the child device to your parent account
  5. Grant the required device permissions when prompted

What permissions does the Child App need and why?

KidzPAN requires several Android permissions to function as a parental control app:

  • Accessibility Service — to monitor app usage and enforce screen-time limits
  • Usage Statistics — to display app usage data to the parent
  • Notification Access — to allow parents to review incoming notifications for safety
  • Location — to let parents see the child's device location
  • Device Administrator — to prevent unauthorised uninstallation of the Child App

Is my child's data safe?

Yes. KidzPAN is built with a privacy-first approach:

  • We do not sell or rent any personal data
  • We do not show advertisements
  • Child data is accessible only to the linked parent account
  • Data is transmitted and stored securely

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time:

  • In the app: Go to Settings → Account → Delete My Account
  • By email: Send a request to support@kidzpan.com

Is KidzPAN available on iOS?

KidzPAN is currently available as an Android Beta. iOS support is coming soon. Join our waitlist to be notified when iOS is available.

I'm having trouble pairing the Parent and Child apps

Make sure that:

  • Both devices have an active internet connection
  • The Child App is installed on an Android device
  • You are signed into the same parent account used during setup
  • All required permissions have been granted on the child device
